Come and meet them

Photographs do a poor job of conveying how big a Goliath birdeater is, how heavy a sulcata tortoise gets, or how little a Gila monster cares that you are there. Events are where that gap closes.

Everything with a date on it

Coming up and already happened, in one place. School and group sessions are booked by request rather than run on a fixed schedule, so they appear here once they are confirmed.

From last year

Setting up the first one

The zoo filmed the build-up to its first fundraiser. It is four and a half minutes of what this actually looks like behind the scenes, which is more use than anything we could write here.

We travel for the right event

School assemblies, library programmes, community days, scout groups and company events. If there is a room and an audience, we can usually bring animals to it, and the session gets built around your group rather than delivered off a script.

Send us the date, the group and the space, and you will get a real answer including a no if we cannot staff it properly.
